Smartphone 5G That Will be Released in Q1 2020

This is the 5G smartphone that will be released in Q1 2020

Of course 5G connectivity provides a more agile speed compared to 4G. The global association of telecommunications operators (GSM Association / GSMA) states that a maximum speed of 5G can be achieved up to 20 GBps, then the average speed is at 100 Mbps. As a comparison, the highest speed that a 4G network can reach is 300 Mbps to 1 Gbps, with an average speed of 15 to 50 Mbps.

Thus, you could say 5G is ready to become the next trend in the mobile industry. Reporting from Business Insider, mobile phone manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Nokia, Oppo, Motorola, and others have prepared 5G technology phones to keep abreast of the times that are connected in 2020. Next are the manufacturers that will present 5G phones at the beginning of this year.

Xiaomi

The Chinese cellphone company is reported to have prepared 10 5G technology-based phones for 2020. However, Xiaomi has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi and Mi flagship will support 5G.

While the Redmi K30 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G chipset, the Mi 10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Xiaomi also mentioned that the Mi 10 will be the first to use Qualcomm's flagship processor. Therefore, the Mi 10 will likely glide this January in China and will be followed by a global launch in February.

Nokia
Smartphone 5G That Will be Released in Q1 2020

HMD Global has announced that they will launch Nokia 5G this year. Unfortunately the Finland-based company has not specified the name of the cellphone model more specifically. Nevertheless, there are several features and specifications to complement the upcoming Nokia 5G, namely the System-on-Chip (SoC) Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G and Zeiss lens-based camera, PureDisplay screen and battery that are claimed to last a whole day.

Snapdragon 765 5G itself is a chipset that targets non-premium Android phones. Of course, one of the advantages of this mobile processor is that it supports 5G via an integrated X52 modem. Unlike the Snapdragon 865, the X55 modem is separate. In theory, the X55 modem is faster than X52 (7.2 Gbps vs. 7.3 Gbps). However, the 5G connectivity experience is relatively the same. The advantage of the 765 is more energy efficient than the 865 series which is optimized for performance. Because the 765 modem is integrated, it requires less power. On 5G networks, the impact is big.

Oppo

The upcoming 5G flagship phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The upcoming 5G phone is predicted to be the successor to the Reno Ace. The Chinese company said that the official launch of its latest 5G phone is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2020.

The Snapdragon 865 mobile processor was prepared as a 'global 5G bodyguard' in 2020. On this flagship chipset, Qualcomm seems to negate the direct modem integration in the chipset. The Snapdragon X55 5G modem must be specifically combined with the 865 chip by each manufacturer. The most reasonable reason is thermal, because modems often work in high enough temperatures. So it's quite natural if Qualcomm decides to separate the two.

Motorola

Lenovo's Motorola was also formalized as having entered the 5G-tech mobile arena and announced the return to the flagship phone segment. Motorola confirmed that they will launch a 5G phone with Snapdragon 865 mobile processor and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765 chipset.

Samsung

This year there will be a Galaxy S11 which has 5G connectivity in order to provide internet speed. Based on a variety of information spread, S11 will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 9 Octa processor with 8GB of RAM and above. Its screen size is 6.7 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels, so it has a pixel density of around 501 ppi.

As a flagship phone, it's no wonder Samsung is providing it with Dynamic AMOLED display technology, which is basically an OLED display panel with HDR support so that its contrast and color look natural. One more thing that deserves thumbs up is that the S11's rear camera uses a 108 MP resolution image sensor. Theoretically, this will result in images with a higher level of detail.

Some call this Samsung flagship phone to be released on February 18 this year. This phone will come with a perforated screen but in a smaller size compared to Note 10. Unfortunately there are no further leaks related to the specifications of the phone which is also allegedly called the Galaxy S20.
